Interview with TMNT Movie Producer Kim Dawson And Writer Bobby Herbeck

Recently I spoke with Screenwriter Bobby Herbeck and Producer Kim Dawson about their experiences with the TMNT and bringing the franchise to the screen. Bobby did his via audio so if you want message me and I can give you the link as I do not want to spam.
Producer Kim Dawson
What attracted you to the project and what did you want to accomplish going in?
My partner Gary Propper and I had been producing comedy shows for Showtime for about eight years and during that time we had acquired the film and TV rights to some comics like scout war shaman Cadillacs and dinosaurs and other offerings from Darkhorse comics and kitchen sink. So we had our eyes out for any commercial project that will allow us to make a comic book into a TV series or a film. Gary was in Detroit touring with the comedian Gallagher when he discovered the first issue of the turtles in the fall of 1987. He sent the comment to me overnight and urged me to reach out to Mirage Studios to see if we could acquire the film rights because GARY recognized it as something that would have legs in the feature film business and allow us to make our first movie.
Did you plan for a trilogy going in or did that simply evolve based on Box Office?
Gary and I have an attorney by the name of Tom Rowan who did mostly television and he had an associate working with him by the name of Jay Shanker who started negotiating with Mirage through surge licensing and Mark Friedman in the option to purchase agreement that we negotiated had the rights to three live action feature films during the term that we negotiated. So when the first film opened strong we knew immediately that we would go forward with the second picture as soon as possible.
As you went on to the second and third films, what were some of the biggest challenges you had with each?
The biggest issue we had coming off the first picture was that it hadn’t performed particularly well in the foreign market places which were serviced by Golden harvest itself. Tom Gray who ran the US side of Golden harvest realized that he needed a different distributor in foreign for the second picture. Based on the success of the first film we all thought that the actors and the director would be hired again but conflict arose in negotiating the deal first with Judith and then others. So as a result we had to switch horses in a few key areas and, of course we had parted ways also with Bobby Herbeck which was upsetting because he was instrumental in getting the first picture made and brought a very comedic take to the characters. But he had a falling out with Peter and Kevin, Which led to Todd Langen doing all of the writing on the second picture.
What do you think were the main reasons why a 4th film was never done in the original film series?
The reason why we were involved in making a fourth picture what is that we only have rights for the first three in the third picture it only made a little over $50 million at the US box office so the Maroge guys in particular wanted to wait and see what happened in the marketplace before committing to a fourth picture. We tried that is Gary and I tried to negotiate for additional rights to make another three pictures but Maroge wasn’t interested at that point so it was put on their back burner.
Do you have a favorite of the three and if so which one and why?
The first picture will always be my favorite just because it was the origin story and also the first feature film I had ever produced. I’ve been producing TV series in specials for almost 15 years but the turtles represented my first foray into the theatrical feature business. I also love that first picture because I got to work with Jim Henson with whom I shared an office at Disney MGM studios in Orlando. Jim passed away shortly after the first picture was released so it’s really sad for everybody when he died in May of 1990 so unexpectedly. I think Steve Barron also was a masterful director and visionary particularly as it related to the turtle characters so the look he brought who is significantly different then there’s two sequels and I think that’s why so many people still resonate with the first movie.
Looking back, what changes would you have made to any of them if you could?
I think if we could rewind we would have taking a little bit more time two perfect the costuming on the first picture, not so much the look as the actual operation since they melted down during production quite often as a result of the extreme temperature and humidity on the soundstages in North Carolina. That was both of budgetary and scheduling limitation that hindered the steady flow of production and caused I feel bit of anxiety for both Golden harvest as well as Steve and Brian Henson who directed the second unit, but under any circumstance they did a masterful job with the resources they had. The other change I would’ve made particularly on the third film, Would have been to rehire the Henson creature shop to do the costumes as opposed to All Effects INC, which did a nice job but I didn’t have the same humanity that Jim and Brian and their team had brought to the first two pictures.
What do you think are the biggest differences between the new films and the original ones?
Clearly the biggest difference in the early pictures from the current iteration relates to how the turtles look and CGI versus practical pop tiered costumes. I think more than anything that change makes them transformer like characters rather than The almost human like characters that Jim and Brian and Steve created in the first two. I also think that I missed Bobby’s humor from the first picture on as the stories now are much more formula Mattick and not nearly as engaging as the first picture.
What do you think are the main reasons for the continued appeal of the franchise?
I think the turtles represent a range of personalities that connect with kids of all ages and the fact that they started as a comic book and have that base audience built a core of fans That grew up with these four guys in their mentor Splinter. I think the comics and the toys that play mates produced all contributed to us since the D’s ninja fighting turtles represented feelings and emotions a lot of young people we’re experiencing. It’s interesting that 30 years after the first picture released, That there is such a huge fan base and nostalgia as witnessed by the cool Necca toy line and the fact that nickelodeon has continued to introduce new kids to characters after all these years. I think the biggest question for me is why Paramount in Nickelodeon chose to so radically change the look of these heroes in a half shell when they were clearly fan favorites and really didn’t need a total makeover in my opinion.

Online poker is hard AF

Hey guys.

So, this pandemic had me fiending for poker so for the first time in over 10 years I went through the hoops to start playing online. Some background on me, I've been playing poker for 15 years, almost exclusively in casinos. Started playing in Motor City while I lived in Detroit, then AC when I moved to Maryland along with a few clubs in the MD/DC area. During this time I started getting very good and a club sponsored me to play in other clubs against high roller celebs in what you could call an underground circuit. Alex Ovechkin was a common player, Tiger Woods popped in a few times for 2/5/10 and 5/10 games. After a few raids and Live finally opened up I stopped and just played there and eventually MGM since I've moved to DC.

In any case, I've been a winning player for the past 7-8 years but I can admit online is different. Props to you guys who are winning online players, you can walk into most 2/5 casinos and win with ease. I have no problem winning 2/5 when I play in DC or Vegas, but .50/1 is probably a little harder. It could just as well be the small sample size online and I am not losing by much, but I feel the talent gap for sure.

Any fellow live players feeling the same? Or am I alone? Shit maybe I just suck, lol ....

Met 4 sabres in Detroit!!

We went to Detroit to see the last game of the season as sabres fans from NC. Went to the MGM Grand casino to kill some time tonight. As soon as we walk in I open the door and there is Dahlin and Olofsson. Freaked out and got a picture with them.
We go about our business and go gamble a bit and wouldn't you know, we run into zemgod and Larsson at a roulette table! I am giddy as hell typing this, I've never met a famous person before let alone a sabre, so this night has been crazy so far! I wonder if we'll meet anyone else?

Las Vegas Report from a first timer

I've only been playing craps for a few months. I wanted to learn before I went to Las Vegas. It was my first time in Vegas and my wife hasn't been for 10 or so years.
This report is from 5/4/2019-5/18/2019.
We play in Michigan and Indiana for the most part. There is a Boyd property out here we have been going to for a few years. We were able to get free rooms at the Fremont for 2 nights and Gold Coast for 2 nights. We went to MGM in Detroit once with her mom and they send us offers all the time to go to Vegas. We decided to take them up on it and were able to get 4 nights at the Luxor.
I had a budget of $200/day. My goal was to play $5 craps where I could.
The first weekend we spent mostly at the Fremont. I enjoyed playing at the tables with the older guys and a more relaxed crowd. Always had a $5 table open and the dealers were really nice. I tried to make some 2 way hard ways and yo's and the dealers really seemed to appreciate that. They remembered my name and were always very kind to me. One dealer even flipped the dice to 3-3 for me when he sent them my way to save me time. I really enjoyed playing there.
I saw that they had a shooters club at Fremont and found it curious. I was able to roll 20 and 23 times while I was there, but that's not even close to getting on the wall. I was playing mostly the pass and 6-8 occasionally taking a 5/9 with my winnings. I didn't make much, but people around the table did.
We found our way down to the D and Golden Gate on Sunday afternoon. My wife really enjoyed the Golden Gate and I did as well. Always found 5 dollar tables and at night they have the dancing dealers, which is always a nice thing to look at. Dealers were great any my wife was able to earn comps there quickly. Paid for our dinner at Pizza Rock on just her comps. The D was pretty nice too, but was very loud at night and more crowded.
We had a nice room at the Luxor and spent our first day there (Thursday) walking around the hotels. I was trying to collect a dollar chip from any casino that we went into as a souvenir. Luxor was $10 everytime I was there. 2 tables open in the morning with no one playing. I asked if they would lower it to play, but they declined. We walked to Excalibur and I was able to play for $5 anytime except for Saturday night after 8. They did have a $5 crapless table, but it was crowded and I don't like it. The house edge is high.
I had some coupons for match play at Planet Hollywood so I did play $10 there for about 3 shooters but I lost my money quickly. We had to make some bets for my brother at Caesars so we used his card to park there for free. I did bet one shooter there just to say I played at Caesars.
As you can imagine, the nicer hotels were all $10 and up. I was able to find $5 briefly during the day at Treasure Island and played there for a little while.
We went back downtown the Saturday and Sunday where we could afford to play. My wife found her home at Four Queens. She loved sitting in the Keno room and playing the live Keno and a Keno machine at the same time. She also enjoyed playing High Card Flush and Texas Holdem there. I played craps there for quite a long time, but the dealers for that shift weren't as friendly.
For the most part I would win $100 somewhere and loss $100 somewhere. But I kept most of my money throughout the trip.
Our last weekend we stayed at Gold Coast and played there on Thursday night. We went back downtown Friday night to play at the Golden Gate and Binions. My wife hit a jackpot in slots at Golden Gate before we left that won back all of the money we lost. We left Las Vegas even on money after paying for dinners and such.
It was a really fun trip. I know with my bankroll Vegas can be tough. But we aren't fancy people so downtown was perfect for us. We earned some comps and plan to stay at a Boyd property or the D when we go back in February (we had Disneyland tickets for one day. I've never been and she hasn't been since 1998. But my wife got sick so it's an excuse to go back.). Hoping we can put the money we came back with away to use as a bankroll next time.

My thoughts from my first 2/5 and how it differs from 1/2.

Since I've read some a few people here asking what are the biggest changes from 1/2 to 2/5, if like to share my first experience
I was playing at MGM Detroit and doing pretty well in 1/2 and decided to hop into the new 2/5 game that was getting started. A few of the 1/2 players joined as well
Min max for the game was 200-1000 I bought in for $500. Was a full table
Here were some of the unexpected things: (this will not come as a surprise to people who play a lot of 2/5 I feel)
-stack sizes are more varried but not the amount of big blinds At 1/2 everyone typically as between $100 and $300 (50 and 150 BB). At this game there were people ranging from $300 to $1000 (60-150)
-a bit more difficult to quickly calculate the different stack sizes where due to people having a varried amount of $5, $25, and $100 chips
-opening sizings were more consistent. In 1/2 you would see people open to $10 (5bb) but it seemed like $15-$20 was the general open and didn't really vary too much. This will probably change depending on the table as I have a very small sample size.
-takes a bit to get comfortable with putting in $50 as a 3bet. In terms of bigblinds it's about the same, but there is that psycological thing about putting in $50 vs $25
-since the table seemed more like regulars that play 2/5, I got a sense that some of them where prodding me a bit to see what I would do (which is kinda like I would do in 1/2 to some extent)
Here were some hands:
-folds to be in the CO. I raise to 15 with ATo. Folds to BB who 3bets to 50. I folded as this was more at the bottom of my range and the villian covered me by $500, and it was one of the first hands at the table.
Hand2: -Effective stakcs are $400. I cover Villian I raise to 35 in straddled lot from CO with AJcs.
The BTN and the SB call. Pot is $100 with rake.
Jc4hQh
I raise to $65.
Both call
As
I raise to $100.
BTN folds and SB calls. Pot is $500
7h
He shoved for 190 I call. Villian Shows 56hh
In this hand I like my play except on the turn. I made it way too profitable to call. Making the turn bet 1/3rd of pot isn't too bad as we are still going to get value from flushbdraws, an Ace, QJ, and possibly some Kings with a gutter, but either a $150 bet or a pot size bet I think would have been better.
River, I don't think I'm ever going to walk away from this as it was $200 into a pot of $700. I'm pretty much pot committed and I think there's a good chunk of time someone will call with AT, an Ah semibluff, and QJ, as well as some A4 and chopping with AJ. When I calculated it out, it was 69 different combos that I win gainst vs 32 that I loose to. This is assuming what actions where taken. If j think he could have any flush possible, then it becomes a much worse call.
Random hand: -not my pot but just a crazy one. 5 all ins preflop- about a $1800 pot. AK vs JJ vs KK vs [muck]. The guy closing the action folded and after he said he had 55. This gave me a good opportunity to review the math if I was ever in that situation. Turns out if you put the villian on JJ+ AKs, AKo, you just barley loose money in the long term. But I found it interesting that a hand like 76s is a pretty big favorite for that position.
I ended up shipping my last $70 with pocket 77s after the AJ hand above and somehow Quadrupled up. Ended up working the stack up for a profit of $90.
What I'm going to take away from this to apply for my 1/2 games: -get to understand the bottom of your ranges a bit more. I think the ATo is a good example of that.
-think more in terms of BB
-think about SPR more. How much am I leaving behind for the later streets? Does it make sense to shove now or try and induce a bluff?
Thanks for reading

Table report MGM Grand Caesars Windsor

We had a free room at MGM to use and decided go go to Detroit. My wife's parents liveclose and we were going to meet them for dinner.
My wife hit a slots jackpot last weekend so we are playing in house money.
Got to MGM Thursday around 3PM. 3 craps tables open. 2 for 15 and 1 for 25. I hate to play even a 10 dollar table but I wanted to play craps so I played the 15 table. Bought in for 140, played for 15 minutes and lost it all. I can now say I've played at MGM Detroit. To rich for my blood.
We decided to go to Windsor. 1 10 crapless and 2 10 tables open. It was about 6pm 3 people playing total at all the craps tables. Played by myself for a while on 120. Bet lots of 2 way hard sixes. Dealers made 40 bucks. I made 100 on a parlay back to back 3 3 .
They have the fire bet there. I never hit it, but another guy joined out table and hit 4 points. I hit back to back 12s and made him a killing on those rolls. Left the table with 300, which is a pretty good score for my conservative play. The other guy made quite a bit.
Dealers at Windsor were a lot of fun. They enjoyed playing with me even before I was tipping tbem. Tipped them 6 before I left. One of my favorite craps experiences that wasn't at Downtown Las Vegas.
We plan to head back to Windsor in the morning to play more slots and craps.

NCAA 19 - Recreating the College Football Experience in Madden 19

As many of you know, the ruling that killed the NCAA Football series left a lasting effect that has no end in sight. The only remaining major football game is of course, Madden. Despite the technical shortcomings of Madden, we’ve set out to create an NCAA Football league in Madden 19, despite the obvious challenges that are presented.

Note: This is an Xbox One league. We use Slack. Both of these things are required.

Just like MaddenGMs, the league will take the form of a “sim” league, in which users control only the drafting, player development and acquisition side of Madden, with games being purely up to Madden’s simulation system to determine winners and losers.

First, are the basics of the league, in the easiest ways possible to represent College Football. In Madden there are 32 teams, split into two 16-team conferences. To translate this to College Football for our NCAA19 sim, the NFC will represent the FBS, while the AFC represents the FCS. This means there are 16 teams in each level, with the four divisions of the NFC representing various Collegiate Conferences. The five “Power Five” conferences that we will represent with the four divisions are the Big 12, Big 10, SEC, and Pac-12 (Clemson finds itself a home in the Big 10 due to the lack of real standout teams).

Here is a breakdown of the NFC teams and their relocations that allow each team the most alike uniforms. Teams in bold are still open.

FBS = NFC

NFCE = Big 12 Conference

-Texas Longhorns -- New York Giants, relocated to San Antonio as the Express
-Texas Tech Red Raiders -- Philadelphia Eagles, relocated to Austin as the Desperados
-Oklahoma Sooners -- Washington Redskins, relocated to Oklahoma City
-West Virginia Mountaineers -- Dallas Cowboys, relocated to Brooklyn as the Bulls

NFCW = Pac 12 Conference

-Washington -- Los Angeles Rams, relocated to Sacramento as the Condors
-Oregon -- Seattle Seahawks
-USC -- San Francisco 49ers, possible stay, or relocate as Mexico City Conquistadors
-Stanford -- Cardinals

NFCS = Southeastern Conference

-Alabama -- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
-LSU -- New Orleans Saints (almost impossible to uni match), Orlando Wizards possibly?
-Auburn -- Carolina Panthers, relocated to London as the Bulldogs
-Georgia -- Atlanta Falcons

NFCN = Big 10 Conference feat. ACC Clemson

-Michigan -- Detroit Lions, relocated to Brooklyn as the Barons
-Ohio State - Chicago Bears, relocated to Columbus as the Explorers
-Nebraska -- Minnesota Vikings, relocated to Mexico City as the Golden Eagles
-Clemson -- Green Bay Packers, relocated to Chicago as the Tigers

At the FCS level, the playoff situation (limited by how Madden works) operates the same, with six teams making the playoffs, the top two teams receiving byes, and the AFC Championship Game being the equivalent of the FCS Championship. Due to Madden, an exhibition game will be played following each Championship, which is represented as the Super Bowl. The goal of each conference is NOT to win the Super Bowl, but instead the Championship Game that pertains to your level of play.
Teams in bold are currently open at the time of this posting.

AFC

North

-Youngstown -- Browns (potential move to Columbus)
-Towson - Steelers
-Dayton -- Bengals (potential move to Columbus)
-James Madison - Ravens

East

-Delaware - Jets
-Villanova - Patriots
-Grambling -- Bills
-Coastal Carolina -- Dolphins

South

-Indiana State - Colts
-Tennessee State - Titans
-Southern -- Jaguars
-Sam Houston -- Texans

West

-UC Davis -- Broncos
-Eastern Washington -- Chiefs
-NDSU -- Chargers
-Portland State -- Raiders

(Note: I’m not a big FCS fan whatsoever, so I had a friend figure out which teams fit best, but much like the FBS teams, if a good alternative can be presented we will consider that as well.)

So, now with teams decided, the next big issue is rosters. College rosters are achieved by a few steps, none of which are too overbearing on teams to comply with.

Eligibility: Players may only play four seasons on a team. After completing their “senior season” or fourth year, seniors cannot be resigned, and will enter free agency. There are a few exceptions to this rule.

Redshirting: With practice squad stealing off, teams may redshirt 10 players. Once a player is placed on the Practice Squad in Week 4 of the preseason, commissioners will take note of all players on each practice squad. Each player that is “redshirted” can only appear in four or less games during the season in order to retain their redshirt. Players exceeding this limit will lose the redshirt, and be accrued a full season of play.

Transfers: For FBS and FCS level teams, all players will enter the free agent pool after completing their senior season. At this point, a select few will become eligible for recruiting, while the rest go to the NFL draft, retire, etc. Each team can bid on one of the grad transfers in each class, with players randomly being awarded to various teams for one final season of play. For junior-level transfers, FCS teams that send talent up to the FBS level will receive a “recruiting boost”, which will come in the form of either a 1st or 3rd round pick from the FBS school receiving said player. Interest levels from FBS schools come in three forms, and the FCS school sending the transfer can select the best offer available to them.

Three levels of interest:
High - the FBS school sends the higher of its two first round picks
Medium - the FBS school sends the lower of its two first round picks
Low - the FBS school sends the higher of its two third round picks

”Recruiting”:With no easy way to alter the draft process, recruiting will instead take on the appearance of the NFL Draft, with a variety of twists. To represent the talent discrepancy between FBS and FCS, all FBS teams will be assigned an FCS partner. Each season, the FBS level teams will send their current second, sixth and seventh (C2, C6, C7) for their FCS equivalent’s current first, third and fourth (C1, C3, C4). This means FBS schools will have a selection of picks that include (C1, C1, C3, C3, C4, C4, C5) to recruit with, whether that comes in the form of drafting (recruiting raw talent) or trading with FCS schools for their upper level talent and transfers. FCS schools, having a lower selection of talent, will have their own selection of picks that include (C2, C2, C5, C6, C6, C7, C7). Since all playoffs occur amongst teams bound by the same rules as you, FCS presents an added challenge of developing sub-optimal talent into starters worthy of pursuing an FCS Championship, while also utilizing the transfer rules to stay relevant in the “recruiting process”.

Walk Ons: Just like in regular college football, a large portion of the players at any given school will be talent that went ignored or overlooked during the “recruiting” process, AKA the draft. As the league advances through each round of the preseason, teams may sign only a select number of undrafted free agents, in order to allow all teams to finalize and fill their rosters.

Obviously various stages of Madden can be ignored with this system. The Salary Cap will be turned off, and players will very rarely need to sign contracts, aside from the walk ons, and bidding free agency (located from Week 2 of the offseason to Week 4) can be outright ignored.

Schedule: Much like MGM, we will abide by a 28-day schedule, with a slightly longer slug, but the possibility to skip various weeks such a resigning and free agency. As the league fills up, a more consistent schedule will be put into place in order to provide stability for members.

Starting Point: In order to help clear the league of older vets and real life players, we will be simming to 2024 to start the relocation process, then starting the league officially with the 2025 Draft, with the 2025 season being the inaugural season for the league. As of the time of this posting, league creation is anticipated for Sunday, January 13.

"Moving Up”: Initially, all FBS teams will be filled first, with the possibility of FCS Athletic Directors moving up to fill the void left by FBS coaches in case of a vacancy. The option to move up will be given to the previous FCS National Champion, and so-on by record if declined. Once we have the league settled, the possibility of teams moving up/down between FBS and FCS based on record will be decided.

The Draft Order: To reflect how teams that do better in college have better recruiting classes, the draft order will be selected much like the NBA Lottery, with the best teams from the previous season having the best odds to land the top draft picks. This process ties together 1.1 and 1.17, 1.2 and 1.18, and so-on. Immediately after the conclusion of the NFCCG, the draft order will be determined for the FBS schools/first round, followed by the same process for the FCS/second round after the AFCCG results.

As follows are the odds for landing 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 respectively, with picks assigned in order of finish after the top three are given out. (IE: The National Champs can never pick lower than four, National Championship Losers never lower than five, etc.)

0.14 Natty Winner
0.14 Natty Loser
0.14 Loser to Natty Winner
0.12 Loser to Natty Loser
0.1 Loser to Loser to Natty Winner
0.09 Loser to Loser to Natty Loser

>**Community**: My goal is to get as many people involved and engaged with this league as possible, and as such we’ve created a Slack for discussion. Anyone is free to join, as the main chat is a discussion room for followers and members alike. We also have a subreddit over at NCAAforMadden.

Open Spots: If you've made it this far, it's because you actually gave a shit to read the rules that are in place. If so, and you would like a team, please join the slack link listed below, because from there you can meet the other members of the community and we can get a feel for how you'd fit in before handing out a team. I will NOT hand out teams on Reddit, so don't ask for one in the comments below, instead, come join the Slack and get involved!

(https://join.slack.com/t/ncaa19madden/shared_invite/enQtNTIwNTI3MDIwNzIyLTcwNmE5ZjMyZTc3OWRkOGQ5ZDJlMjlmNTJhMGU0YWM4MDc2ZmY1YWFlNGYyMzU0ZmZlNzBmYWMzZjc1MGYxMGI)

Content: While not an explicit requirement in to partake in the league, a hope of mine is to have a DaddyLeagues page that anyone can access to keep up with scores, and open voting for things such a Heisman, COTY, etc amongst followers and members.

I know that what you just read is a ton of rules, and likely a few confusing ones here and there. While this league is still in its infancy, we will work to adjust and alter what rules are in place to best represent how the league operates. Thanks for sticking with us as we get this thing started, and go win some Nattys!

NCAA 19 - Turning Madden into the College Football Experience

Note: I know this isn’t explicitly an MGM Post, but where better to start than the league that I consider family and I have the upmost faith in every member here to continue to try and make whatever league they are in as good as possible.
The four “Power Five” conferences that we will represent with the four divisions are the Big 12, Big 10, SEC, and Pac-12 (Sucks to leave Clemson out, but the ACC doesn’t really have four standout teams).
Here is a breakdown of the NFC teams and their relocations that allow each team the most alike uniforms.
FBS = NFC
NFCE = Big 12 Conference
-Oklahoma State Cowboys -- Dallas Cowboys, relocated to Oklahoma City as the Lancers
NFCW = Pac 12 Conference
-Washington -- Los Angeles Rams, relocated to Sacramento as the Condors
-Oregon -- Seattle Seahawks
-USC -- San Francisco 49ers, possible stay, or relocate as Mexico City Conquistadors
-Stanford -- Cardinals
NFCS = Southeastern Conference
(Note: Some conferences have better alternatives than others. The B12 could do the Austin Bats as TCU, and others like that. If a good alternative is presented with decent uniforms, could possibly shuffle which teams make it in.)
AFC
North
-Browns -- Dayton/Youngstown (potential move to Columbus
-Steelers -- Towson
-Bengals -- Dayton/Youngstown (potential move to Columbus)
-Ravens -- James Madison
East
-Jets -- Delaware
-Pats -- UCONN
-Bills -- Richmond
-Dolphins -- Bethune Cookman
South
-Colts -- Indiana State
-Titans -- Tennessee State
-Jags -- Southern
-Texans -- Sam Houston
West
-Broncos -- UC Davis (Sacramento)
-Chiefs -- Eastern Washington
-Chargers -- NDSU (Oklahoma City)
-Raiders -- Portland State (move to Portland)
Three levels of interest: High - the FBS school sends the higher of its two first round picks Medium - the FBS school sends the lower of its two first round picks Low - the FBS school sends the higher of its two third round picks
Moving Up”: Initially, all FBS teams will be filled first, with the possibility of FCS Athletic Directors moving up to fill the void left by FBS coaches in case of a vacancy. The option to move up will be given to the previous FCS National Champion, and so-on by record if declined.

Community: My goal is to get as many people involved and engaged with this league as possible, and as such we’ve created a Slack for discussion. Anyone is free to join, as the main chat is a discussion room for followers and members alike. We also have a subreddit over at NCAAforMadden.
https://join.slack.com/t/ncaa19madden/shared_invite/enQtNTIwNTI3MDIwNzIyLTcwNmE5ZjMyZTc3OWRkOGQ5ZDJlMjlmNTJhMGU0YWM4MDc2ZmY1YWFlNGYyMzU0ZmZlNzBmYWMzZjc1MGYxMGI
